Wednesday was Seminary Graduation. Everyone except Matthew, David and Dallin went to Cody for the graduation. That was an adventure!! While we were getting kids ready Joshua told us that his pants were the ones that would fall down. He was right. He escaped out of our bench and ran to the front of the chapel. I sent Emma to get him and bring him back. As she was picking him up his pants fell all the way to his ankles. We had a hard time not laughing too loudly while she carried him back. The second time it happened we decided enough was enough. Neil took Joshua and Lydia to Albertson's while I stayed with the other children to listen to the Graduation speeches. It was an interesting evening. We are proud of you, Bethany.
Friday evening Neil took the boys to the Fathers and Sons campout. Matthew really wanted to get some fishing in so they camped at Deaver Reservoir after spending the evening with the ward. Unfortunately for them I packed the tent and didn't know the tent poles weren't in the bag with the tent. Matthew ended up sleeping on the ground by the fire. Neil and the other boys slept (I say slept lightly) in the van. I think it was a fun, but long night. Matthew caught a good sized trout on Saturday morning.
The girls and I had a fun evening Friday. We made chicken croissant sandwiches for dinner and enjoyed watching Anne of Green Gables and the first part of Anne of Avonlea. We stayed up late and enjoyed being together. Saturday morning Emma cooked us a delicious breakfast of smoothies, omelettes and banana bread. She did a great job!! The boys got home just as we were finishing eating. David said he hoped we were done because he didn't want to have to watch us eat. Silly boy, we would have shared. The boys had dry cereal, fish and baked potatoes for breakfast. Matthew, David and Joshua all napped the afternoon away.
Bethany has decided to stay here to go to school, unless BYU-I gives her a good scholarship. She is planning to live at the dorms.
Today for Mother's Day the Young Men and Young Women took over Primary (they had the help of their leaders and the bishopric). It was good to attend Relief Society. It has been a good day!!
Hope you enjoy the pictures of our busy week. Sarah
