10 months old

Aaron is ten months old! He can officially crawl and get into more mischief now. He is more content now that he can move where he wants to be.  I spend half my day saving him from something he shouldn't have and taking things out of his mouth now.  He sure is lots of fun at this stage of development.  He is learning so much! He still doesn't have any teeth. I told Matthew that Aaron crawled before he left and he was saving his teeth for when Bethany got home. We let him try some ice cream so Matthew could be a part of that before he left on his mission. He loved it!  Here are a few 10 month pictures of Aaron:

A beautiful day at the temple with Matthew

We were so blessed to go to the Billings temple with Matthew a few weeks before he left on his mission.  It was a wonderful experience for me to be in the temple with him. We were blessed to have Grandpa and Grandma Sharp, Grandma Karan and Candice come to go through with him.  We also took Emma and Aaron up to Billings with us. Emma watched Aaron while we went to the temple.  We went to Olive Garden after for a nice luncheon.  We enjoyed visiting with everyone and sharing Matthew's day with him.  How I'm going to miss him when he is gone on his mission, but there is nowhere else I would rather have him be going.  He is a good young man and I am so proud of him.

Bethany's 22nd birthday

Bethany had her last birthday as a missionary about one month before she came home.  We baked a chocolate cake and frosted it with chocolate frosting in her honor.  The candles made a math problem to equal her age. 14+8=22.  We sang to her and hoped she knew we were thinking of her while she was serving in Texas.  We also got in touch with the Relief Society President in her ward so she could have a cake in Texas.  We were so grateful that she was willing to bake a chocolate cake for Sister Waite.
